Sir Alex Ferguson walks free after Football Association did not penalize him after he bombarded linesman Darren Cann during Sunday’s thriller at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea.

Press Association Sport reveals that FA have decided not to look into Sir Alex’s case, when he criticized Dann as he did not flag for a foul on United’s Danny Welbeck by Chelsea’s debutant Gary Cahill. FA claim that the manager had full right to criticize the linesman, as he had not questioned his integrity.
