Frank Klopas, head coach of MLS side Chicago Fire has revealed that his side are interested in bringing Chelsea’s Didier Drogba to the United States.
The MLS has been a destination for players like David Beckham and Thierry Henry where they look to retire from the sport. At 33, Drogba is wanted by Chicago Fire as one of the ‘designated players’. In an interview with Goal.com, Klopas said, ”If there’s a DP [designated player] that’s out there that can fit in with our team, we’re always open to it,”
“Drogba? Of course, yes, [the Fire would be interested],”
