According to Chelsea’s manager Roberto Di Matteo, the future of Portuguese midfielder Raul Meireles is unknown as the player’s protégée AVB left the club.

Brought in the summer by conational Andres Villas-Boas, Meireles might leave Chelsea just as fast as he did Liverpool as the Portuguese midfield was left out of the Champions League game sheet despite excellent recent results.
“I do not know what the future holds,” said Di Matteo after the 5-2 win.
