Goal Against Man Utd Made Lukaku Support Chelsea
New Chelsea signing Romelu Lukaku admits it was Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink's effort against Man Utd that convinced him to follow Chelsea.
The Dutch ace played over 130 games for the Blues and Lukaku admits it was a particular goal almost 11 years ago against Manchester United that convinced him of his desire for Chelsea.


"I used to watch Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink scoring goals and remember one against Manchester United, the volley at Old Trafford, and I decided I wanted to support this team," Lukaku told his new club's official website.

Lukaku's own footballing talent was such that he soon began to fantasise about emulating his idols.
