After major controversy regarding Chelsea skipper John Terry’s role as England captain, the FA released a statement, suspending the role for the center back, till a decision has been made in regard to his case of racially abusing Queens Park Rangers defender Anton Ferdinand.

However, the England manager Fabio Capello has strongly opposed this decison taken by the FA, and has publicly spoken about how Terry is still the country’s leader in his eyes.
Ahead of a very crucial year for Capello and the Three Lions, the European Championship’s will be a big test for a new skipper, which has many potential candidates so far.
