Former Chelsea legend Gianfranco Zola believes that Di Matteo deserves the permanent role at the club after the extraordinary evolutions The Blues had.

Former Chelsea striker Gianfranco Zola believes that his former colleague Roberto Di Matteo, currently the interim manager in charge of the London club, will be offered a permanent role as a manager at Stamford Bridge.
After manager Andre Villas-Boas was sacked in March following a string of poor results, Di Matteo took on the responsibility of the club as the interim manager, and mentored The Blues to their maiden Champions League victory since their inception 107 years ago. Di Matteo has also brought home additional silverware in the form of the seventh FA Cup for The Blues, beating Liverpool to the title.
