Spanish giants Barcelona are very keen on luring Chelsea’s Brazilian defender David Luiz to the Camp Nou next season, and will be trying to sign him in the summer.
The defender has endured a mixed time at Stamford Bridge since his £24 million move from Benfica on Transfer Deadline Day in January 2011. He had fallen down the pecking order under former coach Andre Villas-Boas, but has now redeemed himself after interim manager Roberto di Matteo took over and has become an integral part of Chelsea’s back line.
