Chelsea’s Brazilian midfielder Ramires has been singing praises of former team-mates at Benfica, the trio of midfielder Axel Witsel, full-back Maxi Pereira and attacker Nicolas Gaitan as he is hoping for a reunion with them at Chelsea.

Ramires faced the trio in the two legs of the UEFA Champions League as Chelsea edged out the Portugese side 3-1 to progress to the semi-finals. The 25-year old has been impressed with fellow midfielder Witsel in particular, and has expressed his wish to be reunited with him at Stamford Bridge.
Praising the 23-year old in the Portugese media, Ramires said, ”It’s known when a player stands out that Chelsea are eyeing him,”
