Chelsea have spent an awful lot of money on new signings this summer and it can be noted that all the new players signed are aged below 23.

Marko Marin, 23, Eden Hazard, 21 and Oscar, 20 are all in their early years as professional footballers. After signing the attacking trio, Chelsea are set to submit an improved bid for another young attacker, Andre Schurrle.
Chelsea have already had a GBP 16m bid for the German rejected and are set to test Bayer Leverkusen’s resolve over Schurrle with an improved bid, said to be in the region of GBP 20m. The 21-year-old is tall, strong, quick, industrious and versatile and was hugely impressive in last season’s Champions League tie against Chelsea.
