Chelsea’s long awaited pursuit of Kevin de Bruyne is complete, as the winger underwent a medical in London and has now completed the move.
The 20-year old will be signing a five and a half year contract with the West London club in a deal estimated to be worth £6.7million. Once the deal goes through, on Tuesday night which happens to be the last day of the winter window, Chelsea will be looking to loan the winger back to Racing Genk for the remainder of the season.
A Genk’s spokesperson confirmed that the Belgian is in London, finalizing his move to the Premier League, and also confirming that Chelsea will be loaning him back to the Belgian champions for the rest of the season. ”Yes, that is correct,” he said.
