Chelsea owner Roman Abramovic has done it again, and has sacked manager Andre Villas-Boas after yesterday’s loss against West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns.
With increasing pressure on the Portuguese, time running out, and the fourth spot in the league seemingly unlikely, Villas-Boas was finally shown the door at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea released a statement confirming the sacking, which read, “Andre Villas-Boas has parted company with Chelsea Football Club today.
“The board would like to record our gratitude for his work and express our disappointment that the relationship has ended so early.
