Chelsea will tomorrow [July 14] depart for United States of America where the major phase of the pre-season should take place. Manager, Roberto Di Matteo will be looking forward to the tour as it is one of avenues to assess the squad ahead of the new season. For the players, it is a platform for all of them to fight for a place in the first eleven for the new season especially when the club has been boosted with the arrival of new players.
In America, the team will take on four different teams in front of football loving fans. Chelsea will face Seattle Sounders, MLS All-Stars, big spenders, Paris St-Germain and Italian football powerhouse, AC Milan. The matches will take place in four different cities.
