After the first round of fixtures, all the groups have somewhat shaped up after their respective wins and losses. Now the action moves back to Group A, where Greece face off against Czech Republic.
After Dimitri Salpingidis rescued a point for the Greeks in their opening action-packed 1-1 draw against co-hosts Poland, the Greeks currently lie second in their group. If their position remains intact at the end of the Group stages, then Greece will be advancing from their group onto the knock-out stages. However, not many think that will happen, as the odds are at 3.50 against them. Also, with defender Avraam Papadopoulos out injured, Greece’s task has just got a bit tougher.
